References

Hello everyone, this is week four and we are still going strong. I have found our seminars to be very interesting. I have also found out things I did not know, like writing in the passive voice is acceptable.
Don't forget when typing the reference page that the references go in alphabetical order according to the author's last name. Indent all lines after the first one. I have turned in papers without doing this and lost 2 points off of a perfect paper for not having the references in alphabetical order!!!! I just wanted to remind everyone about these two important points.
We have to give credit to the author if we use any ideas from their work. It is very important to do this and to be honest in your writing so that is is original work. If someone were to use my words without citing them, I would have to confront the person and make sure that the person that received the work also knew it was originally mine.

Thesis

I hope everyone has their topics and thesis ready or almost ready! I hate writing the thesis for my paper. It seems to be the hardest thing to do for me. It was easy in seminar though. :) I am doing my paper basically on how the liver metabolizes alcohol. I have always found it fascinating how some people get drunk fast and others don't.

Hello everyone, we are heading into week three. The time here at Kaplan seems to go so fast. I am looking forward to chatting with everyone before this term is over.

Well we are on week 2 and so far so good here at Kaplan. I have two very good professors and many cool classmates that I can talk to and learn from. I am very happy with my classes and I am learning so much from everyone.

Discussions at Kaplan

I really enjoy the discussion boards at Kaplan. I learn so much from my fellow classmates. I am online quite a bit if anyone needs any advice or help my yahoo id is wldlv8, AIM is dcorbett44. I am usually on yahoo most of the time because AIM seems to lock up my laptop. Good luck to all of my classmates here at Kaplan! We are all going to be very successful!
